Three hours of studying has been done. All in the time it normally would take me to commute, only less exhausting. If this keeps up I will have lots of time for paper writing as well as swimming, going to yoga, and holiday shopping. E-mail remains very stressful.

It takes you three hours to commute to classes? I feel your pain.

There and back, not including a fifteen minute walk to the bus stop. Not having to go feels like freedom!

Ouch, that 15 minute walk sounds like some nice time outside, but annoying to do. Mine was something like:
0:05 walk
0:10 bus
1:00 train
0:05 train
0:10 walk
(1:30)
For a 4 hour class, it seemed so pointless at times. How long are your classes?

one hour, three days a week. I had an early one for two hours one day a week, and one day off, when I spent the morning at the cat shelter so would get home an hour and a half before I would otherwise. Thing is, I'm so lonely now that I have nowhere to be during the day...

:(. Thought about taking some leisurely classes? I used to know someone that took pottery classes, said person used to find it the highlight of their week, it was a really pleasant atmosphere free of expectations, apparently.

I hope you find some way to reduce the loneliness during the days. Those are the worst.
