I still drink milk, lactose free milk, but milk nonetheless. But I find the concept of drinking the milk of another animal quite perplexing, it's such an odd act. For some reason, I see eating eggs different, even though they are exactly the same thing:A byproduct of an animal's physiology. But I suppose other animals steal other animals eggs and eat them, which is why I may not have the same strange feeling toward them. You don't see another animal suckling the teet of a cow.
I still put milk in my tea, on the rare occasion that I drink black tea. I prefer soy milk on my cereal, or after exercise, and I have some coconut milk to experiment with in smoothies. Separating cows from their babies just seems mean.
I'll stick with wine.Politically & morally I win on all counts.
oh but can you buy local, British wine? ;)
dammit, wine, i should've thought of that.
