I've been waking up at 5 am, having gotten a decent night's sleep since I get knocked out by my medicine very early. The extra hours in the day would be nice if I weren't finding consciousness itself somewhat dull and painful. I don't feel like working at all when I wake up at 5 am and gradually the procrastination gets to me. It's only barely afternoon now and I've already put in a solid day's worth of procrastination. I am going to have to put in a day's work now too.

... or not: I took a nap. Know what helps? Blog comments.

Naps are great. Which type of nap is your favourite:
Post-lunch nap

3pm Nap!

I now have a problem with sleeping just a little too long when I take naps, but other than that I love them. When I was a university student I was a master at the hour-long nap between classes.

The 3pm nap for me as well.

^ I wonder what I would've been like had I lived on campus during my university days. Never had the chance to nap between classes, feared doing it the library as I would snore.

I wake up around supper time, so it evens out the sleep I miss in the early morning. I swear it's the sleeping that keeps me sane.

In my first year of university I would come home to my dorm and sleep in the afternoon. Thinking that hard made me tired. After that I had a job and a more taxing schedule.

I just now woke up from a too-long nap. Farley gets up too early so I need a nap in the late morning. Now it's hot and gross in the house. I dreamed about some people who spent too much money on fancy cars. There was some undercurrent about morality in there. I think this was some weird mash-up of the Sozhenitsyn novella I just finished and the episode of Arrested Development I watched last night.

I would sometimes go to the dorm and sleep but it was often too far for the amount of time I had. So my friend and I would go to the administration building where there were some sofas arranged on the second floor. We'd sleep there in between our 8 AM and 10 AM classes. My friend would set the alarm on his watch.
